A good quote: let it out, let it go, let it all unravel, let it out and it could be a path on which to travel!

Ngaire has joined us and is making Jill Maas doll Eddie.  What a laugh - even Mad Madam Mim thinks it's hilarious!   Eddie exposed to the naked eye.

Only four of us tonight, but we had a good time and got some work done. Olive's making and excellent job of her Frumpy Grump and Carol's baby dolkl looks beautiful in the artistically created knitwear she has on.  When she gets the hair on it will be lovely.  Pics next week!

I'm working on a new pattern "Jeanne - the Innkeeper's Wife!"  This doll has real attitude!  what you might call a bit of a  " hard case!"  I'm calling her Jeanne, because Jeanne inspired me to make the pattern.  This pattern is made using a body stocking, made from lycra, and a wire armature.  So far - so good!  Here she is in all her glory!

Olive is making great strides with her Frumpy Grump doll.  She's tackled the sculpting and the face is nearly done but for the wee eyes - we used pins as a substitute to see what it would look like and the hair is ready to go on.  Olive tells us she's got the clothes all done, so I can't wait to see it!  These women are racing through their projects now and have all developed more confidence in their abilities.  It's so exciting for me to see them blossom!

Carol is working on a new baby doll and is becoming much more confident in her abilities!  She's a wonderfully creative knitter and has plans for an outfit she is not telling us about!  It's so exciting!  I love our show and tell sessions!

Here's Jean going through her box of tricks.  She did some great work on her dolls body and is now working on the sculpting and painting of the face.  It's going to be great!  Can't wait to see the finished creation!

Would you just look at what Jackie has made!  I am delighted with her interpretation of my pattern "Dance like no one is watching"!  Jackie has a real flair for dollmaking and costuming!  The back view is just as good!

Jean's always quick to share - a joke - a laugh - her stuff! Wait till you see what she's making!
Here's a hint!  It will be fabulous!
I think Barbara's right - it definitely looks addictive! Believe it or not, there was a great buzz in the room!

Just look at that face!  So cute!  Carol even designed and knitted the cardigan!  She's so clever!  Got a great eye for colour and style.  Love the shoes! This doll really works!  Great work Carol!

Everyone is seriously into this class!   We had a bit of show and tell this week, but I neglected to get a picture of Adrianne's creation!  I was heading over there, but got distracted!  Next time!

I had just finished my pattern for Percival Ponce and Adrianne has finished her doll and is on to the next one now!   she's making two the same so they won't be lonely!   Olive is getting cracking on her doll and I think she's really enjoying this one!
Here's Jackie demonstrating her fantastic dollmaking skills!  She's making my pattern of "Dance Like No one's Watching'!  I love her flair for great shoes!  And her dress designs are fabulous!  jackie has a great eye for detail.  Can't wait to see it with the head on!  Well done Jackie!
Things are moving along here!  I'll need to be upskilling soon at this rate!
